1990 Ford LTS8000
1990 Ford Taurus SHO For sale is an incredibly nice first-generation 1990 Ford Taurus SHO. As some may remember, when the SHO arrived on the market in 1989, it was the fastest four door sedan on the market. This car was originally purchased December 15th, 1989 in Wyoming by a noted car collector here in Colorado. He sparingly drove the car on nice weather days over the next 23 years where it accumulated about 59,000 miles which is about 2,500 miles a year. He kept the car in immaculate condition from day #1 in his climate-controlled warehouse. Since his passing it has stayed in Colorado where it has been owned by two other collectors who have maintained its beautiful condition and only putting another 3,000 miles on it. It now has 62,000 actual miles. I have a collection of cars from every decade back to the 1940's, many of which are low mileage original cars. Unrestored, original cars are much nicer to drive and have an authentic feel over a restored car that has been taken apart and reassembled with aftermarket or reproduction parts. The interesting part about first Generation SHO's is that restoration parts are unavailable, thus making this an impossible car to replicate with a restoration. The only way to get a Gen 1 SHO like this, is to find a survivor.
